Lake Livingston is a great place for people from the Houston area to go. In RV speak it's a great "one tank trip". With gas approaching $3.50 a gallon it's probably gonna be pretty popular this summer. My favorite part is that my mama is here. She is so good with Zeb and she's such a great cook. Zeb loves her food as much as me. Clay is a more than willing taste tester. Zeb has slept pretty much all night since he was a couple of weeks old. I would wake him up to eat. Since the beginning of February he has been getting up a couple of times a night to eat. This has just absolutely drained me. Now that he is eating solid food he seems to sleep much sounder and longer. I guess that makes up for three or four dirty diapers a day instead of one every three or four days.
I honesty don't know if anyone else reads this but if they do I just want them to know that I realize baby poops and such are not fodder for polite conversation, but I'm blogging more to have something to look back on and remember Zeb's childhood. Every parent I have talked to has regrets about not keeping journals, taking enough pictures or videos. I really don't want those regrets. I want to remember and share it with Zeb when he's ready. Since he is most likely my only child I've only got one shot. Anyone who knows me knows that I never wanted children. There was good reason to believe that medically I would not be able to have any. It truly is a miracle that he is here at all. He amazes me everyday and I am a better and more complete person and woman. I am so blessed. LIFE IS GOOD.
