So much has happened in the last month! Zeb walking. He started on July 3rd which is also Shannda's birthday. Got a new RV On June 27th. Got job in Baton Rouge. Been here for a month already. Had to have my brother Michael drive my car to BR from Baytown and then we left for family vacation in New Braunsfels on July 18th. That was a hell of a drive with my almost one year old. Would have been miserable by myself. Left the whole fam damily in the hill country the next Friday. I had gotten Shannda and Karli in Kerrville Thursday and they drove back to LA with me. So far they have been here a week and it has rained the entire time.
Got a big scare yesterday. Clay had gotten word that we would have to get ready to be in L.A. by this next Wednesday. Los Angelas not Louisianna. I am so unprepared and spent all day yesterday running around like a headless chicken. Found out that evening the job was a no-go, but it was a big wake-up call for me. That is one of my "job duties". To have everything ready to go in 48 hours or less. I caught a break and am trying to do get to the place I need to be. Job prospects are plenty right now. Especially the dry spell we experienced the first half of the year. Have no idea where we'll be next week, but that's half the fun. Punky-punky will be one this Sunday. I for one will be celebrating.
